Liner Notes

This one's for you @richaaaay - all I'm going to say is: be careful what you wish for.

edit: the opening phrases were really bugging me so I've changed them to something that I think sounds a bit more appropriate. I will attempt a better recording today - can I get all the way through in one go?!

Edit: no I can’t. But I think it is a bit better than before despite a couple of inaccuracies

You don’t give yourself enough credit with your playing (to parrot @richaaaay), there’s some really expressive and well-phrased passages here. Magnificently baroque.

I was in the great hall eating my leg of lamb! yup the troubadour has earned his dinner with this one.

This is such a meditative piece that sounds modern yet at the same time from ancient times. I love all the moments of breath in your performance. It gives the piece the space that it needs.

Oh how I love the call out and so love that you've done this...And that I may have the opportunity to bust your Zong, even though it's four hours after your posting. Lucky me. You have to give your guitar playing more credit. This is lovely and so baroque feeling. You may have been born in the wrong century. I think you are a natural for creating this type of music, certainly from what I've heard here and elsewhere...

Listened three times and thoroughly enjoyed each listening experience...Congrats on the win!
