might be love (vintage)
Liner Notes
I really wanted to try my hand at making something that sounds old and #vintage even though I've pretty much only ever recorded and produced with modern technology, and this was very much recorded with all my usual stuff.... although now im realizing that I own a telephone mic that really could have come in handy! oops. That was overlooked.
Anyway, here is my weird attempt at making a new old song.
Lyrics
I don't know what this is Don't wanna label it too soon But I get the funniest feeling When I look at you
I'm not sure why I Seem to go weak at the knees Or why I have to catch my breath As soon as you greet me
Whenever we cross paths It's like sunshine rays Light up the darkest of days And even though I'm not ready to say It's love It might be love
I sure hope you cant tell That when I see you my eyes grow wide My cheeks feel warm, my heart beats quick It's all too much to hide

You nailed it girl! Lovely vocals! Nice retro vibe!
This is nice! Hey, off topic question, but Whatd you use for the vocal effects on meta? The delays mainly
What a sweet song! Simple (in the best way), straightforward expression of being on the verge of love. I could see this going in two ways: either classic country with steel guitar et al, or more modern folk a la Ol' Whitetail, Jill Andrews, Sarah Watkins, The Secret Sisters, the Hush Kids, etc. Really nice, well crafted song!
Sweet voice and song! Really nice melody and lyrics. The vintage sound is a nice touch. I really like this! Well done!
Wow! This has such a wonderful classic vintage feel of a timeless love song. I love the swing rhythm in that chorus and your lovely melody as delivered with your gorgeous vocals. I love everything about this song!!!
