Kitty's Lullaby
Skirmish: Cats (@ajna1960)Liner Notes
Thank you so much for the prompt. I love cats :)
I composed my piece to 2 challenges on FAWM.ORG: skirmish prompt tonight called for songs about cats, and a challenge @beto creating a song based on all Major chords of A B C D E F and G.

This is such a gem, such a sweet song! I love that you were able to write a lovely lullaby for the challenge — I'm always amazed by the variety and quality of the songs that people write for it, and yours is no exception! Sleep, little kitty!
This is absolutely precious. It feels playful and even a bit cuddly. I love cats and this cat is instantly loveable. Beautiful playing, Nadia. I look forward to hearing it with the lyrics.
Sure, I'll listen to one last lovely lullaby. Not a cat fan, but I AM a Nadia Fan--so this did not disappoint! ❤️
While I'm not necessarily a cat person (meaning I wouldn't own one) it doesn't mean I don't think they're adorable (when they're not pawing another house pet or human). This, though, I do envision a little kitten playing with a ball of yarn or discovering something interesting. Chord progression is lovely, Nadia. Very happy feel; childlike wonder. It really does sound like a bit of exploration is taking place.
The major chord focus creates some really stunning effects in this. I love the playful chord 'rolls' (I'm not a trained pianist...is 'roll' the right word?) that bring to mind an unpredictable cat at play. This is very sweet!
Really lovely. Flows so beautifully! I will listen again with my cat at her pre-sleep cuddle time!
Gorgeous. My word... I'd like to try that Major chord challenge myself.
Beautiful music. And I can just imagine a content cat curled up near the piano (probably by a radiator) catnapping while the music plays
Aww, this is so lovely and soothing. I can imagine soft purrs in the background 😻
This is beautiful. I can hear the kitty's personality in the melody.
The mischievousness and playfulness of cats shines through in this! Such a lovely piano piece! - Natalie
