I wrote these lyrics to be a duet. I tried to sing them but couldn't pull it off. Del's voice is so warm and beautiful. I didn't want to ruin that -lol.
We still plan to make this song a duet, but for now please enjoy Del's beautiful music, melodies and vocals.
Del (@trebled) writes: I wasn’t planning to participate this month, but I’ve been looking in occasionally, and when I read Andrea’s beautiful lyrics I quickly changed my mind. It’s a shame she isn’t singing with me here, but I’m hoping that will happen in a future collaboration. Thank you, @andrea! :-)

Such a tender and lovely song so gorgeously delivered. Beautifully written and performed! Wonderful hook. I love the flowing melody.

Lovely and relaxing. The lyrics are magnificent. I really fell into to the story. The vocal hook on the chorus (light in our hearts) is instantly memorable. The finger picking guitar with the synths give a nice ethereal vibe. Really a good song all around. Hit me up if you finish the duet version. Would love to hear it.

I didn't see that there was a demo version! That ethereal synth and fingerpicked guitar is a match made in heaven. You captured the rapturous love in these lyrics. Nice voice, nice use of pause and harmony for emphasis. What was that synth around 1:30ish? Really pretty piece of music.

This is beautiful - I love the heartfelt lyrics. The imagery of walking through the forest and the powerful connection between the two singers makes for a great duet . The music and delivery is perfect for this song. Wonderful work!

I can certainly see the draw of the lyric, it's lovely. And so is the melody. I liked the doubled vocal, a nice touch. This is a good combination of two different artists coming together for a dang good result.

Great lyrics. I read them first and expected a lullaby. Happy that the song is a lullaby. Good phrasing and instrumentation. The additional synth works so well
