Onto The Next Thing

Liner Notes
Going way back on this site, I think there used to be a selection that meant "I wrote a lot of songs very quickly". Maybe "Feast". For the first time ever, I did close to a feast. I wrote two songs in an hour. This is the second.
Feels unfinished since there is no second verse.
Lyrics
Verse: Am-D-G The river flows over the rocks Wearing them down over time Making them smooth as silk Should this be a crime? The birds fly up in the air Riding on the wind Watch out for the tricky drafts That make them a spin
Pre-Chorus (F) Sometimes (C) the best things (D) Come from (G) our mistakes Sometimes the fragile things We just need to break
Chorus: (F) To Get On To the (Am) next thing (x3) Just to find the best thing Evaluating everything (D) In our lives
A gritty smoke filled track. I think this song has huge potential.
