I had this melody in mind and a vague lyrical idea. And I was impressed by @greengrassgirl 's abilty to create great lyrics. So I asked her and I am glad she agreed. I am still impressed how much time and effort she put in this song. I never met anyone thinking so deeply about lyrics, fighting for the right words and pronunciation. And she explained what she did and really convinced me.

Patty, you had so much patience with me! And I am so grateful! You pushed me to new heights! Thank you for that!

There are a lot of phrases that were really hard to sing. (Why am I writing such awkward melody lines?)

Originally I had an instrumental section in the middle of this song. But it didn't really fit into it. So I'll post it as Part 2 of this little monster!

Patty says: I had just finished a project and I had some free time when I got an email from Andreas. I'm so glad we got a chance to work together. I think his music is really good, and it was a very positive experience working with such a talented musician and vocalist. I love what he did.

This could be part of a stage musical, or possibly a themed album. The chorus really defines the whole song and has a nice catchy melody. Nice collab!

Awesome collaboration!! This captivated me from the start. I love the unexpected turns in the melody (“shattering me”). The instrumentals ROCK! And those lyrics - perfect!
