Would I change it? @[email protected] Fawm2025
I learned a lot And I learned them quick The lessons were hard but it made them stick
Would I change it if I could? It would’ve been a different world If I’d changed how would it be? I don’t think there’d be A you and me
The journey was rough Over changing terrain Sometimes I’d trip but On others I’d gain
Would I change it if I could? It would’ve been a different world If I’d changed how would it be? I don’t think there’d be A you and me
I can’t imagine a life without you You are worth all the struggle The holes in my shoes Travelling gave me a different view But the best part was always coming home to you
I accept my decisions The falls off the path The pain in my memories The outbursts of wrath
Would I change it if I could? It would’ve been a different world If I’d changed how would it be? I don’t think there’d be A you and me
I made my peace With my path on the map
So I wouldn’t change it if I could Another life for bad or good If I missed our point to meet I’d miss you darling Our love to keep
At the end of days for me and mine, I have to say you've got this so, so right. People keep running the "if only back then I'd [insert chaged behaviour here]" and forget or refuse to accept that their experiences and choices make them what they are. My wife and I (partners since 1971) were discussing this the other day: if we hadn't both failed first-year university, we'd never have even met! Very well put: Applause!
