Coming In For A Landing

Liner Notes
#pop #folkpop #folkrock #duo #travel New song written and recorded during FAWM by 10 Miles 2 Neptune, the duo of Tammy Jann (tamsnumber4) and Mike Birch (mikeb). This is for our new CD "We are Travelers", all music with a travel theme. Not all of the mixing we want, but running out of time, but I think you can get the idea. Suggestions are welcome since we are going to be producing this song.

That refrain "coming in for a landing" is an ear worm, catchy, catchy, catchy. I really like how the bridge changes things up. Great singing and guitar work.
Album ready! Very catchy and wouldn’t we all love to do this.
I love the guitars in this and the vocals sound great, too, of course. "We want to take off again." Count me in!
Always a pleasure to listen to something from the Tammy & Mike duo. Love the space-fantasy imagery and the melody. Wonderful harmonies. Good work, you two! (-:
I have to catch up! This sounds radio ready and a hit! So catchy and fantastic you two!!
Great pop with hints of darkness and many layers of beauty. Love the jazz-folk of the verses and the pure pop of the pre-chorus and chorus. Lovely vocals, as always!
There's so much to like here. The sunshiny, driving rhythm; the stop at 'We'll have to go home soon', the well-placed harmonies underscoring key lines, and the whole space fantasy trip. A fine collab that plays to both your strengths.
This has a space surfing vibe that's really fun to listen to! Great melody and harmony! I really enjoy the instrumentation! - Natalie
Really great melody and instrumental arrangement. A very enjoyable listen. Album worthy for sure.
So many directions this one swirls for me. Imaginative play of children, lovers coming to the end if infatuation where the hard work starts, and the personal one of watching my daughter go through the college admissions process where all the destinations feel possible, and knowing that soon she’ll know what home she’s going to. Fun to write a such a bouncy rohrshach test of a song with a memorable hook.
