A Fine Finale (Instrumental)
Liner Notes
Just four guitar tracks. No loops. Minimal editing. Lots of button pushing, knob twisting and sound mangling. (If experimental ambient music isn't your thing... go check out my songs with melodies and words and stuff...) Best in Headphones.
- Guitar, standard
- Guitar, Ebow, reversed
- Guitar, double speed
- Baritone guitar

This feels so symphonic! I really like how it builds.
I really like the engaging soundscape you created with 4 guitars! You were able to create some amazing layers. I love the interplay between the layers and the different lines from the flowing melodic line to the energetic rythymic staccato stabs to the buzzy fuzzy drone like feel and everything in between. Fabulous!
This is pretty cool and meditative.
Yeah this rules... especially nearing bedtime with headphones on pondering the universe and why something exists rather than nothing. Wondering when and if time started. A really beautiful song.
Oh man this is crazy. The combo of double speed and reversed ebow is immense. Getting Tomorrow Never Knows vibes. So good. You’re in full mad sonic scientist mode and I’m very much here for it!
Ambient soundscapes are my thing and t'ain't nothing wrong with a little bit of it in the wee hours of the morning. May be the best time to partake actually. I'm using Sennheiser 250s to take this all in and it sounds most excellent my friend. All guitar, eh? In the immortal words (and voice, too) of Darth Vader: "impressive. Most impressive."
Why aren't you doing more soundtracks or the new other half of the Postal Service? Pretty cool. I dig the ebow stuff.
Somebody mention "Lots of button pushing, knob twisting and sound mangling"? Yes please! The way this swirls around my head is trippy and incredibly satisfying. Very tasty guitar tones and that subsonic bass thump really knows how to provide backup.
Well, I came for the title (cos I love a good ending) and then found there was ebow! One of my absolute favourite tools for when I need that little something extra. hardly used it this year... shame. Best indeed in headphone. Plenty going on to keep my ears happy :D
This is so cool! I love how dynamic the whole soundscape is. And I wouldn't have guessed that all the sounds come from guitars. It sounds like more than four tracks as well, there is so much going on. Really fun to listen to.
Finale or Finally... a Cool Danbient tune. I like how you have the short glitchy notes riding along with the long sustained ones. You have such deft control of the oscillations my friend.
You are skilled my friend and I like it. It was such a treat in my Bose Buds here in my hammock next to the beach in Gokarna, India. Thanks 🙏
I'm not too much into instrumentals. . . but this is experiential. Surprised that these are guitars and not samples or synth sounds. Pretty cool. But how did you play them all at the same time? ;-)
Beautiful soundscape you create here! Very meditative! Crazy that you did this with only 4 guitars!
