Liberty and Justice are this country’s ideals, When I look at those statues, I get all the feels Though freedom may be costly, with conmen all around And though rich men can buy lawyers, they still can be downed

This land is not their land, it belongs to us all Those crazy money hoarders will find a downfall It’s healthier to hoard cats than all of that cash If we can’t buy their products, the markets will crash

It's a difficult time for the world right now - especially if you are governed by the Orange mobster and his cronies. FAWM has been full of protest songs. I've written a couple myself. They're all needed - I enjoyed this one, It speaks truth to power - your last line, exhorting everyone to stand up and be counted is especially important. :-) #tit4tat

Great point, Dierdre. I'm enjoying the protest songs from this fawm. I think hearing songs from other like minded folks is helping keep me sane (well, more or less). I love the line "It's healthier to hoard cats than all that cash". I try to think of them as dragons sitting on their hoard, but no dragon is as bad.
