Guitarist who's accidently (reluctantly) become a (not very good) singer songwriter having taken part in the Rhett Shull Green Room Challenges in 2019 and 2020.

As time goes on I'm finding myself really getting into the production/mixing/mastering side of things as well.

As for FAWM, been lurking on here since 2011 admiring others work (and commenting on plenty of them) but never quite plucking up the nerve to post anything.

Then in 2021 I made my first contributions . . . all two of them, I upped this in 2022 to a mighty 3 tracks and then in 2023 I hit the giddy hights of 5 tracks. Being one to keep to a trend it was 6 tracks in 2024, and then 7 in 2025.

Was hopefully to be in a new home studio space for 2025 . . . . but that's now the dream for 2026 or 2027

Tried 50/90 in 2022 for the first time . . . . and managed 2 songs then in 2023 I did . . . 2 songs. 50/90 in 2024 I can't remember or find my archive . . . .

Thanks, Jim, for your kind comments on “It’s All Been Done Before”. I was amazed at how many songs from FAWM that I was able to include in the song. I had to leave many out!

Hi Jim! Thank you for the comment on my song re Kylie album track, I completely get what you mean and I take it as a compliment! I do love a lot of Kylie’s music and I never made the comparison while making it; although part of me has wanted to try making full-on electropop songs, so maybe this is the start of it!

Thanks for the kind comment on "Stepping Up." We had so much fun doing that, and none of us could've predicted where it would go!

Hi Jim, thanks for the comment on our new tune, and I’d definitely recommend trying out playing slide on a baritone guitar. It’s fun playing around with the lower tuning on these things (think I might need to get myself an electric version at some point too 😅).

Thanks for appreciating (and commenting) “Give no Quarter”. Off topic: Did you find Rhett Shull’s teachings worthwhile?

Thanks for the kind comment on Oxygen, never listened to Jeffery Lewis, but now I know who wrote with this kind of vibe.

Thank you for listening to "Now you're Running" I'm often a 3 chord rocker... but I love to let the melancholy drift in - I typically write early AM, so it seems natural. Red light fever can be a real thing for sure...
