Well, I promised y'all I'd tell you about my twin half-brother so here ya go! The complete story. The Ballad of Budd Whole Opossum. I hope you enjoy this sad tale of a young opossum whose life was ended too soon (leaving his widow, his girlfriends and about 350 babies to fend for themselves!)

he was born in the outhouse in the middle of autumn my dear twin half-brother I think about him often
he was bigger than life and ten times more awesome now I bring you the ballad of Budd Whole Opossum
Budd Whole Opossum could hang from a tree by his tail Budd Whole Opossum could dumpster dive you all the way to hell
his daddy was a rounder named Korn Whole Opossum his mama's name was Loosey and they didn't take precautions
Ol' Budd grew up pretty fast he was pop'lar with the ladies sowed his wild oats far and wide and fathered lots of babies
Budd Whole Opossum could eat a garbage can full of trash Budd Whole Opossum he'd steal your girl and then he'd kick your ass
Budd thought he was invinceable said no one could bring him down so he saddled up his faithful pig and rode him into town he tried to raid the trash bin but he never had a chance ol' Budd was murdered by the Orkin man
Budd Whole Opossum could poop in every attic in town Budd Whole Opossum that Orkin bastard finally brought him down

The banjo and fiddle really sound fantastic, and the lyrics tell a wonderful story.

Oh gosh - I would so like to have a faithful pig! My condolences on the loss of your half-twin. My favourite line is "his mother's name was Loosey, they didn't take precautions". Fiddle playing is fantastic. Enjoyable listen. (My 2nd song choice in response to your #tit4tat)

Great bluegrass as usual.. Truly funny lyrics!1 reminds me of a scene from a Family Guy episode where this guy is scooping stuffing outa the turkey and says "Anybody up for some of this Butthole bread??" That cracked me up and so does this Budd Whole song!! Now I have to go eat some butthole bread... cya round Ray!!
