Ok another name drop was from @hmorg : Arcturus! I've never tried to make that kind of stuff myself. I used to be in a band that mostly drew inspiration from Arcturus, but didn't compose anything, just made lyrics and vocals. I think my Kristoffer Rygg / Garm impersonation is quite ok!
I tried to compose in the vein of La Masquerade Infernale, but the lyrics side is more inspired by Sham Mirrors and Sideshow Symphonies.
Still using my käppä Yamaha DSR-500 for all the synth stuff.

Superb stuff, as expected. Great synth work. Love the theatrical vocals. When you tagged it black metal I didn't expect so much clean singing.

Ha! I started listening before I read the liner notes and thought, "ooo, this sounds like Arcturus". So yeah, job done 😈 Damn. This is REALLY good.
