Awww …truly an anti valentine song. This is so full of honest feeling angst … I like the counter melody of a plaintive trumpet as well as the harmony vocals. I like the effective percussion and repetition bridge section as a nice change up.

This feels like the end of a day — not going into nightlife like so many pop songs, but just fading away as the sun goes down. I like the tempo change in the bridge that carries the idea of light returning, but then it’s only for a minute.

I like the whole vibe of this song. It's great how you used a physical path as something that the narrator can't see due to his heartbreak. Love the jazzy horns too. Nice job.
