Great love song. I really like the fast pace of this. I find most love songs are a bit slow and sluggish, but this moves along at a great pace… awesome effort!

The sparkly synth is a lovely touch. Oh and mandolin too I think. Great chorus - love those overlapping vocals. The waawaa guitar is cool also. Wonderful lyrics - the bridge is my favorite. Super catchy melody and the classic smooth, compelling Jerry vocals are the icing on this Valentine treat!

The Jerry Pettit valentines song… an annual tradition, strapping in… first thing I’m hit by is those panned guitars, they almost seem to be in conversation, very cool. Then I’m loving the overlapping call and response hook! Catchy as hell. Loads of nice ear candy, that ivy synth on the right is fun. And a lovely message - “while the light lasts / let’s make it last forever” is great :)

it feels to me that you are like brian wilson in his experimental phase here. the melodies are more complicated than usual. and i surrendered to all those harmonies on the chorus. this is my favorite one of yours so far this year.
