This is a beautiful song, it feels contemplative and I like that a lot. This is a much better piece of art that the movie is. I'm so glad you took this in your own direction, the song turned out lovely.

I saw the movie a very long time ago but more importantly I can relate to the theme. The bit of intrigue surrounding a mystery and for me this piece matches that feeling.

Oh I love how this starts out with some dissonance and then is accompanied by the lovely melody! This has such nice twists and turns of emotion. Some times it feels so optimistic, then is pensive and a little conflicted. I love it!

I haven't seen the movie so I have no idea about its vibe. I just enjoy the pensive piano that has a wonderful right hand. It's quite cinematic what you wrote here.
