Nancy: @cicpisces sent me this tender lyric, and I had a great time singing it. I imagined the narrator as a tender parent whose child is headed out into the wider world. My kids turned 21 and 18 a few weeks ago, so that feels especially important to me.

I think we should all be loaded down with dreams, all of our lives :-).. Sweet song.

My daughter is nearing 50, and still falls into this philosophy. Her 4 kids are so different, and not knowing where to go. I think the times are unfavorable for dreams some times.

All parents have been there and all parent have the exact same worries about their kids. Super song

this is such a sweet song (although fraught with a parent's worry) to sing to a child who is now prepared to go off into the world. i love the phrases "loaded down with dreams" it gives me a vivid picture of a person setting out, not with suitcases and duffel bags, but with the burden of dreams,
