It Doesn't Go Away
Liner Notes
A bit of #synthwave for you today, although I couldn't resist a bit of #prog soloing.
Lots of Korg M3, Juno-60, some Wavestate Mk 2, Arturia's Analog Lab V, Heavyocity Vocalise 3, Toontrack Superior Drummer 3, and NI's Flesh, Scene Saffron, and Rise & Hit. A desk (and floor) full of effects pedals. And some noodling on the Strat.

Dang, my head just started bopping when the drums came in. I think the build into it was just so natural. I like the development of the theme as it trades across instruments. Each adds its own take but keeps it relatable.
Great space synth vibes, very classic film feel at times as it captures that nostalgic sound!
Ohhh these classic synths. Love and M3, love a Juno. And whatever, that little synth line that starts just after the two minute mark is 80s/90s prog perfection. Equal parts dystopian soundtrack and like the "middle 8" section from the final track on a lost Pallas album, this was a joy to listen to. And I reckon if PKD was somehow with us today, he'd be saying something "Fuckin told you jokers, but would you listen? Hey you got any ludes?"
Glad I came in. Music for my soul right now. I'll just sit and listen..
This is so good a really just solid synthwave style track. Nailed it
Love where this goes...this is really neat stuff! Hearing some cool sample/holdy burbling under the surface later on...cool track!
What a seductive intro right into the luscious wave of sparse synth motion. That theremin sound is perfect here. Great builds/transitions. Just enough tension. I'm liking this a lot.
Of course you couldn’t resist and that’s good has depth in that bass and it’s cool when the synths start to soar!
Nice chill open. It does feel like something that would be in PKD movie or show, especially vintage. That Star Trek vocal/theremin is awesome. Great synth work and guitar work. Definitely some Tony Banks there towards the end (to my ear). Nice.
I like the beefy rumble your bass has. The track gets more and more EPIC over time I really like that! futuristic, ominous, threatening, but then graceful too. builds really nicely. great work. would work amazingly as a movie soundtrack - for a certain kind of (awesome) movie.
Very creative and fascinating track. Epic and adventurous. Amazing to listen to and to follow the development. Love the sounds and the choice of instrumentation.
