Sleepless after returning from our neighbours' happy engagement party, I doodled and noodled attempting nocturnes (at 1:30AM I'm not up to Rachmaninovian excess). This quiet piece came out, and in the same sequence two more which I will put up once cleaned. Just a quiet bit of "#homework-music" or "nightcap then bed" preparation. So okay, the title is a cliche but then nocturnes are all cliche, so it works, right?

Lovely sound, both the piano and the notes chosen. I really like the ebb and flow of the rhythm -- it enhances the beauty of the piece. Good balance of (semi-)repetition and ongoing change.

This one feels so sleepy. It would be a lovely piece to fall asleep to, or maybe to have as an early alarm. A very pleasant listen.

This is such a pretty, mesmerizing piece. It really hit particularly hard at 5am haha

this is a beautiful composition, really sweetly played. my breathing is slowing down, which is the best compliment i can give... bravo
