Finding Purchase
Liner Notes
after doing a skirmish (peace ) i said i needed another skirmish to do the lyrics and vocal, so i did. The lyrics are not exactly Peace leaning but that is what came out within an extra hour to do vocals... all from peace being at forefront of happily dallying in cakewalk/FAWM.
Lyrics
hmm bit of a freeform and i would rather they float about than be pinned to the screen

Interesting soundscape with big sounding hand drums. Pretty experimental. Sounds like an inner critic voicing many fears and concerns about songwriting with a backdrop of a somewhat warm synthy soundscape.
Wow what a contrast to my “happy” listen , but I feel with this you have depicted through a magical soundscape , all those questions that go through all us artists , it’s like you’re inside my mind in a beautiful way . I had a deep vortex healing sessions the other day and this musical piece of art is what was actually flowing through me at that time . Thank you for a rather special free form lyrically piece of art 🙏❤️
Yes! It is inspiring, it is satisfying, it is art! Love the added lyrics, Den! ❤️
I feel this is different than what I normally hear and I like it. Insight into the mind of a tortured artist who must both ask these questions and reject them in the same breath. The drums starting it off is great, and the space groove (?) paired with the long delay reverb on the words really comes together well. I like the attitude of the piece as well, if that's even the right word.
Are we are but a speck! I guess everything makes a difference! Very deep. Lovely swirly synths are a really good listen.
ive been wondering about these things as well. and straining to hear you ask the questions, obscured by swirling clouds of sounds in delay, offers a sound portrait of the artist in crisis.
So many questions. I could totally hear you narrating over that music but the echo/delay was unexpected. It works very well though so kudos for that. So many questions…and good ones at that. Glad you added what you did…
Wobbie....spacey and trippy . Love those drums. You need to play with cakewalk more!
Yes it is worth it! Enjoying hearing you in ambient space land....
