My nights with my nights that I keep in a list Each more surprising than I could wish If we party all night then what fills the day? If the nap was alright will the rest be okay?

The lyric feels like it stacks on itself. Like late night anxiety.

Lots of interesting lines that evoke a feeling of insomnia born out of a lot of emotion welling up from the days. Interesting concept.

I like that nights with my nights cadence as the start of each stanza … it is really effective. And I agree with Val on the power of that line she notes. Wonderful skirmish response.

"If you wish you’d be here you would not wish to stay" That is such a striking line. It has a lot of weight. There's really lots to unpack in this lyric. It's quite intriguing.
