Two Hands but One Heart

I wrote this with the intention of a collab on SC. I was supposed to write something based loosely on an old German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm called "Jorinde and Joringel". We ended up going with some other lyrics of mine, so I decided to finish it anyway for FAWM. I'm not sure it's actually "finished", but it's close.
This is meant to be a duet with the chorus sung by both the man and woman together.
Feel free to offer suggestions for improvement.

This does have a forest feel, Andrea. So crisp and clean and soft too. You can hear the chorus quietly soaring.

Oh wow, I love these lyrics and your vision for the song. I can almost hear it. I love how the use of imagery grounds and provides a setting the song. I don't think I have time to work on them this FAWM but I would love to hear it.

Beautiful love song lyric! “Two hands, one heart” is a strong image, and I like how you use the hand imagery in other places throughout the song too.

WoW... great write Andrea... wonderful imagery, emotive in such a pure and true light, love the forest trek and the two hands one heart line is soooo good, that such a grabber! Can't wait to hear it! The ability to count on the comfort of unconditional love is such a wonderful feeling of security!
