Lyrics

Look around Don’t wait to use your voice until it’s gone

Arise Don’t let them chain your soul or take your song

The time has come to reach inside And find The reservoir of truth that lies Within To guide Us all Into the light

We reach Outwards to connect with our fellow man

Look up The heavens shining down as we take our stand

The light of freedom in our hearts Will guard Against the tidal pull that tries To draw And bring Us all Into the darkness (kick delay in on darkness)

(solos)

Find the courage to believe In the spirit that we share We are more when we’re together We’re alive - we’re aware

One human race One human face Love is our power It will bring us to the light

The time has come to reach inside And find The reservoir of truth that lies Within To guide Us all Into the light

This shot me up out my seat as soon as I heard the trumpet fanfare and had me marching in place. There with you. Super epic and vibrant. That breakdown solo section with Hammond and e guitar was tight and fun. And lyrics are pulling you to rally.

Gorgeous. Has a wonderful sort of Peter Gabriel vibe before it goes into the more R&B section. Love how you manage to deliver a rallying message without being even the least bit preachy. Everything sounds pristine and beautifully mixed, but that bass is especially juicy! And yes, "chills" is right on the money @caitlin !

Deep and meaningful lyrics. Love the percussion and the echo. The words are so true. One day, we likely won't be able to share on the level we are now. All of us on a list. All of us one day unable to share? These are sad times.

You don't know how much I needed this. That intro just sings of triumph! Your echoey vocals give me chills, I'm with you on this journey into the light! I love how much space you give your lyrics, to really let them sink in. And oh that solo section. Yum.

Love this. A much-needed, wonderfully positive message. So many gorgeous prog flavours! That synth brass is the perfect choice for an anthemic call-to-arms. That insistent beat instantly had me thinking of Neil Peart, but I'm also hearing nods to the Trevor Horn-era Yes, and Asia, too. I was waiting for the guitar solo to drop in during the Rhodes section, and you did not disappoint. This is one hell of a track.

This sounds like a forgotten prog hymn of the end 70s or 80s. These synth brasses with the organ and the soft bass is so damn good. Good pacing with the vocals too. Definitely a keeper

Love the slow phrasing of the lyric over the pulsing insistent tom toms. Nice build to what's clearly going to become anthemic: and it sure pays off in the last minute and a half. But I love how it breaks down in the middle into a jam that reminds me of The New Mastersounds.

wow, this is huge and accomplished and really wonderful on every level! (that pomp and circumstance thing at the beginning reminds me of being at an emerson lake and palmer concert in 1977...tho its more like a sting/.u2 meets phish vibe perhaps?!) Ooh, just got to that jammy rhodes section- so very tasty in that jamband way--- this whole thing is so damn good :) Lyric is a timely thought these days, and i can hear the passion in the whole thing for good .reason.- its got that arena rock heft for sure ...
