I just realised this is my 14th!!! WOOHOOOOO. Cannot believe i made it this year with all thats been going on. More to come hopefully xx

So i saw liz's lyrics the other day and started singing a melody over just acoustic so it was going to be acoustic guitar as was a much slower feel your way type song. Liz's lyrics were so heartfelt and deeply hit me, as i could relate so much especially relating to my father. So that was all good, then i started to feel a little bass riff and a guitar riff then came on top of that and suddenly i was there creating a rather large production in the last week!!

But i simply can't thank Liz enough. We've done songs before and its always such a joy because her lyrics are so straight to the heart and work with any genre (he says hoping he's not gone too far with this one ;-) . massive love to you liz xx

I'm with @davidtaro. That intro is amazing! The dynamic change into the chorus is killer. The intro and outro just bookend this perfectly. Such a unique feel to the song. I feel as though the song just swallowed me whole, which was quite pleasant...The lyrics are economic and perfectly matched with the music. Fond memories of times once shared...Those words communicate so much...

Oof, that intro’s amazing! And then the delicate bass/guitar riff is so so good. Love the change of dynamics into the chorus! ‘Fond memories amid dreams thunder in’ is a superb line from Liz! Well done both, awesome collab :)

Wow! There's so much to love in this. I'm very much a melody focused person, and I don't have the know-how like you do to create such a fine production as this, so I am in awe of your skill. This repeating guitar melody is killer, though, as is also the vocal melody. Very catchy. I especially like how you bring it all down in that gorgeous ending. Oh, and I can understand how this wonderful lyric inspired you. Beautiful imagery in these words. Great song! Love it. Had to listen twice.

liz's lyrics read like japanese poetry and the music has a touch of the far east as well.

Your experimental take on these words is really cool. Something about it is very hypnotic. I enjoyed the vibe you created with this. Lots of cool layers and effects. Kinda creates the effect of shadows of memories that the lyrics talk about. Really cool track.
