No idea what this is supposed to be about, but it's fast, it's full of RIFFS and it was heckin good fun to make π
Lyrics
Chaos plagues Burn the horizon Black nights ahead A gleaming blade The crescent moon Descends
Five keys Four doors Three lives Two roads One heart Five locks Four hands Three eyes Two moons One life
Lords of change Tears in time Burning gaze A rod of lies Ever-hungry The gaping maw On eagle wing Hangs our doom
Consumed by rust Celestial blood Cloaked in ash A stench of fear Clouds the sun Infernal gateway Shuts
Five keys Four doors Three lives Two roads One heart Five locks Four hands Three eyes Two moons One life
Sound the drums The glare of angel wings Scouring the souls These devils Break upon the walls Of Gomorrah

Cool! Nailed it with the sound on the guitars and drums! Big fan of the chorus. The break at 3:25 is sick!
Really heavy work, drums and guitars deliver the intensity, nicely done!
Got me headbanging at my desk! This is a banger, and I really love the counting down. Really evocative imagery in the lyrics and some very tasty riffs!
That chorus with the counting down stood out to me in a good way. The guitars here sound dirty and bitey like they should in a black metal song. Good music to headbang to.
Aaahh, the ending is glorious with those lead guitars and the blastbeat. In that part particularly the drums sound extra good! I also have to compliment the lyrics, some awesome imagery in there.
Are singing breathing in backwards?
A proper head-banger as ever Pete. Some grand guitar work there and a sort of singalong chorus? Good work
This sounds like the fun levels being had here were pretty epic. Vocals are masterful, guitar solo shreds, just as it should do. And it feels like it's referencing one of Richard Kadrey's "Sandman Slim" novels, although I can't put my finger on why.
I'm listening to this while the song hamster stares at me from my Slack window on the other display. Not sure that I can recommend this as a great way of enhancing the listening. experience.
This is just excellent, great overall sound. The drums are fantastic and the mix with the bass/guitar feels so cohesive. Great riffs, obviously. I love the way "one heart/life" break from the pattern, really effective.
Itβs like Animal from the e Muppet Show is all grown up and guest starring on Sesame Street.
