And Everything Ends
Liner Notes
You can only ever once end with your greatest, I'm not gonna end with a 'Nobody Wins' again, so have this, will it be my last this fawm? maybe, we'll see if I wake up in time
Lyrics
Thank you and thank me Thank everybody here Thank you and thank me And everything ends Thank you and thank me Thank everybody here Thank you and thank me And everything ends
If you wanna make a splash Or you gotta dash I don't mind We're running out of time And we're gonna have to choose Who to spend it with I don't care if it's me Or somebody else I know it won't be me anyway
Thank you and thank me Thank everybody here Thank you and thank me And everything ends Thank you and thank me Thank everybody here Thank you and thank me And everything ends
You can be sentimental Or you can be cold But what you can't be is right Nobody knows how the end will come Not for you and not for me We can speculate But it's better to create Something that we can leave behind
Thank you and thank me Thank everybody here Thank you and thank me And everything ends Thank you and thank me Thank everybody here Thank you and thank me And everything ends
Thank you and thank me Thank everybody here Thank you and thank me And everything ends Thank you and thank me Thank everybody here Thank you and thank me And everything ends

Strong intro! Very strong and (bitter)sweet idea for a song near the end of a journey. For a relatively positive instrumental, you hit us with some existential gems like
"You can be sentimental Or you can be cold But what you can't be is right Nobody knows how the end will come"
Like, geez. Makes me want to cherish the time I have, that's for sure. Thanks again for what you share! Never stop.
Not what I expected with this title, but really neat. I like the repetition in it. I really the doubled vocals, that really feels like everyone is thanking everyone. Makes a great gratitude song, lovely idea. I like how the instrumentation is very 'abstract', I like all the synths playing around the very solid main bass line. The somewhat-slower tempo gives a great groove, it doesn't feel hurried. I like the playful trumpety sound setting in for the last chorus, that gives more depth to that part. #tit4tat
Something deliciously unsettling about this one! I don't know if it's the doubled vocals, the dissonant melody fighting with the happy electronic bed, or the cryptic lyrics, but it doesn't matter -- it all works together for me! I never like to be too comfortable... #tit4tat
