Nocturne 4: The Training Wall
Liner Notes
Long ago, fishing in the late evening moonlight on the Training Wall of Camden Haven River in NSW, kids asleep in the car, the two of us enjoying the gentle ripple of the tide flow, the jumping fish, the distant surf rumble (this is also where we saw the moonbow and I still haven't got the music right for that). #piano #nocturne #classical Music Copyright © 2025 TJ Fatchen All Rights Reserved APRA-AMCOS

Lovely motion throughout ... I like the way the upper and lower voices keep moving toward and away from each other. Active but soothing in its circularity.
Very creative. There are certainly images of night time and ripples. The left and right hand parts compliment each other very well.
That's a beautiful setting you describe and the music combined with that description totally transported me there.
This was a lovely listen! It’s so peaceful and dreamy, and lends itself quite well to your described recollection it was inspired by.
A calm but detailed little nocturne. I think you captured the moment you describe quite well. I could almost hear the water lapping on the rocks.
This is lovely and a perfect song for the full moon tonight. The flow of the melody line, the movement in the chords, and the phrasing create such a gorgeous soundscape.
