This one got me thinking about what it means to have a super hero heart. For me it was one that can crack a little and keep beating. That made me think there was a lot of space to bring that cracking into the song. Step on a crack and break your Mama’s voice and her heart. I also imagined the bridge might lead into a version of the chorus whether you question whether this YOU is going to step up or just continue to let your superhero heart do all the heavy lifting. That idea of wanting to give and give but also not be taken advantage of feels like it shimmers in the bridge.
