Shaky Wind

For my last song, I went back to song I wrote on the first or second day of FAWM.
I was having real struggle with not writing about the new unreality show. I was driving across town on the freeway on a blustery day when this huge wind came whipping across and really shook the car. I thought weather felt like a pretty innocuous subject so I thought about old timey songs where they sing about about getting through bad weather and situations.
I recorded a one-take demo with an acoustic guitar, with just a few lyrics written so improvising about half of them. Today I gave it a listen and decided to recorded the music for it first and deal with the words later.
Being final FAWM day, I'd kept my calendar pretty light so today I had the luxury of more time to produce and mix the tracks and go out on something that sounds nice. Plus, Being Friday I just felt like rocking out a bit.
I may post one more track before the Midnight bell, something odd from the leftovers.
Otherwise, Happy FAWM everyone, thank you all for the inspiration!
Lyrics
A reminder while driving Through civilization today That a cold strong wind can come up Shake you up in a bunch'a different ways
How does it make you feel In your 4 thousand pounds of galvanized steel? You got a shaky wind And it’s shaking you down
The wheel starts to shimmy And your bones start to shiver and shake That wind is gusting heavy as it cuts across that frozen lake Shake you up in a bunch of of different ways
How does it make you feel in your 4 thousand pounds of galvanized steel? You got a shaky wind And it’s shaking you down
Well Mother Nature she don’t give a shit What’s on your calendar where you gotta go Go, go, go go You feel so safe in your air bag cocoon Heated seats and Corinthian Leather This First World living is easy don’t you know
How does it make you feel In your 4 thousand pounds of galvanized steel? You got a shaky wind

Nice rock work here to end on Joe. U got some interesting sounds and angry noise going on here. But in a good way. 4 thousand pounds of galvanized steel. Sounds like an ode to road rage. You had a great Fawm again! Thanks for all the support as always.
"You got a shaky wind and it's shaking you down." Great takedown of the invincible drivers of tanks. This sounds like it was a lot of fun to record. Those guitar bits are great. Nice rocker...and I see that it wasn't your last FAWM song. But this would have been a fine way to end it as well. Love how those early ideas can come back at the end sometimes.
