give it all for just one song
git it all for just a song
world got people who's job to sound
sound better than i could hope to sound
lift up to the prayer you found
lift up to the song you sing
hope and mercy to the song you know hope an mercy when you sing
this aint the beginning this aint the end
this aint the rose colored that you thought youf ound this is the pray i can lift up high
let there the peace upon the land let there the peace upon the land

Well, here we go then. I posted the first song of this FAWM, and this is the last... What a way to bookend a fantastic February! And such a wonderful song for us to sign off on. Beautiful lyrics and so well delivered. Love it π
Nice! I love the sentiment of the lyrics, the guitar dynamics, and the emotion in your voice. Well done!
Very enjoyable. Great job
Well done on the last song and well done on making it the perfect ending song. Enough said about the evil, let there be peace upon the land indeed. π
Oh wow... what a bookend. This is exactly the feeling we need to finish this off with. Just absolutely lovely.
Oh this is the perfect song to end FAWM! Itβs quiet, introspective, and joyful all at the same time. Beautiful, bravo!
very fitting timing of prayer for peace song... like the late night vibes...
this is an excellent song to finish with. the theme is inspirational. if everybody directed their energy toward lifting up their own songs, there might be peace in the land.
Lovely ending song. This is the message that we need to have at the end of FAWM.
Congrats on a great last FAWM song! I love the tenderness, peacefulness, and love this song conveys! A lovely prayer for peace, perfect for this time, this moment. Thank you for closing us out with a call for peace.
Wow, Lee - so glad this season has been so fruitful for you. I like this permission to sing and write as a way to be me, instead of needing to be some kind of universally agreed on best. Writing song and praying feel closely tied. I think sometimes about the nuns who sit in convents and pray for the world. This song feels a little like that. It matters even if no one but the angels gets to hear it.
congrats on the last song and a great FAWM - it has been lovely getting to know your songwriting the last few months. I am not the praying type but it strikes me that that is a good prayer. and a fitting outro to FAWM 2025
Simple yet inspiring. The guitar and vocals are smooth and flow well together. Nicely done!
