Dark art

Liner Notes

I wanted to make a 'dark' rock song, but so I started with the bass and the drums, and that long electric guitar note, but then I deviated from my idea by adding the violin melody, and it became something totally different. But I think the song became better for it. I did keep the original title.

I don't know what the scale is, but to me it gives an #eastern c.q. #ethnic vibe. Also I have no idea if this could be classified as #rock, but I think the groove is definitely there.

Also, I find making 'one chord' songs too boring, so when I accidentally put the wrong chord in for the background strings, I used the opportunity to change chords, and then the idea of changing styles emerged. And so, the song developed further.

I'm at the movies with the others ! The strings especially got me in an espionage movie. Of course the parcussion got me out on a travel, but it still matches an espionage movie. It is not a big action scene, but we can hear the tension building. The plan seems to work but everybody is tente though ! #tit4tat

Agree with the tenor of the comments below that this works perfectly as the soundtrack to an espionage movie. It is exciting with lots of tension. I really enjoyed it.

Feels like the soundtrack to a spy/action movie. Like someone has definitely dropped out of a helicopter to this. I like how this gets super orchestral. This piece really seems to tell a story, and the use of chimes and other sounds is really creative and serves the purpose well. #tit4tat

Oh my goodness, I really love this dark and haunting, er, no, enchanting music! I also love that eastern flavor sprinkled all over this! I could hear this in a major motion picture! Very beautiful and wonderfully produced! Excellent work here!!! So Good!! #tit4tat

This has a wonderful haunting and suspenseful feel. It transports me on a journey of intrigue and anticipation! I love the drama in the soundscape and the different places we go - the flute and lush string sections are a bit of of respite oasis sections as the journey continues… such a great soundscape for a film score! I can imagine a cool video with this.
