Patty says: I had an idea for an (Almost) Break-up song and I figured @bethkille would know exactly what to do! And she did! This came together quickly because she's so good at it!

Beth says: It's always a pleasure to work with Patty! She gave me the prompt of a Carole King vibe so I went with piano and lots of chords/key changes on this one. She's great at crafting relatable, singable lyrics that jump off the page into melody easily. Fun to collab!!

This chorus is great (am I seeing a pattern?) It leads back into the verse perfectly, it soars when it needs to soar and it hits when it needs to hit, with that last line (in both places.)

I can imagine this playing at the end of a ROMCOM where the two people realize they still love each other. Beautiful piano and vocals. The melodies are quite catchy. This chorus will be running through my head all day. Wonderful collab!

One of those songs that makes you so grateful for FAWM. I love the nod to King in the piano riff. The melody is awesome as are the vocals. Patty's lyrics are always top notch and you've done an amazing job with them!
