You really cured an itch I’ve had for circus music with this one! Big fan of circus jazz. Used to listen to this band called “the circus contraption band”, look em up if you get a chance. They have a song called “we’re all mad” that fits this vibe.

Ha, I just love this. I guess there's a circus vibe, but honestly it's the lyrics that shine, and your vocals. The music just supports it and emphasizes them. I like the line about the elephants and lions. I get that. Really deep meaning for a song that is frivolous on the surface.

You really captured that Slavic vibe. I was shocked when I learned a lot of Polish punk and ska leans into tuba and occasionally throws in banjo for a reason I can't figure out other than it being cool. Great stuff!

I love that expression! It's such a great verbal shrug of the shoulders... There's something about the tuba that really does bring out a sense of Eastern European melancholy to the music. It works so well!

Sure has a circus vibe - a sad circus, to be sure. It's so cool to hear instrumentation that's not the (my!) usual guitar-bass-drums. The monkeys are on the loose for sure.
