i'm bad at genre-ing...thanks so much Q for doin another one with me...i decided to sing the hook with you even tho i sing like a bad person...Really loving our album that's in the works...i mean, we might as well, right? love and respect.

Q- damn dude, you turned this one around quick! That stereo hits different with your vocal on the hook. So good. And yeah, I'm really digging this album you're producing and rhyming on šŸ˜‚ let's gooooo.

Lyrics

I'm damned if I don't Damned if I do Damned if I do nothing So how the fuck do I choose If go where I'm growing Or stay the same as I am Choke holding my future Like smoke inside of my hands

I don't know about you But lately I've just been exhausted I'm sick of counting on hope That that holds less weight Than the coins in my pocket

But once upon a time I had a vision of change So I jumped on the board Without learning the game, yeah But I was only making lateral moves So afraid to fuck it up That i failed to improve

Like i would've had potential If i could have paid attention Published at 13 But it wasn't worth a mention Cuz i may write lines with strong end rhymes But my math game sucks, and i cant tell time

And now im pushing 35 Not young, not dumb Not old not wise

I'm not sure, and it shows Why we fertilize our youth Just to mow em when the grass grows?

I'm damned if i don't Damned if I do Damned if I do nothing So how the fuck do I choose If go where I'm growing Or stay the same as I am Choke holding my future Like smoke inside of my hands

Another lap around the sun Another ring in the wood grain Another nail in the coffin Another foot up in the grave Another 50 shades of play it safe Or great escape from the day to day
the more I change the more I remain stuck in the same muck standing in my own way lame duck, Howard 1000 cuts what a coward like failing be a super power I’m falling or flailing like the hammer only hits half-in and the damages sit in a half empty cup like enough is enough it’s the same friggin word (What?) I keep trying to be the shit but I’m just polishing a turd like whoa like word life’s a lotta work Barely scraping by like "that’ll work" I’m a jerk for real for sure for sure

Dang, dang, dang. This is dope! What a great collab. New fan here. So many amazing lines here. "Why we fertilize our youth Just to mow em when the grass grows?" You hurt me good on this one. Woah. Great beats, great performance, great form. You two are on to something really powerful, really big. I say, do THIS math so this and all the work you do together moving forward can be shared exponentially. You are the messengers. I am very moved by what you've done here. Bravo.

@gm7

Now thisis cool..an underlying grove Q singing then to rap. I don't know what you call this, but I like it!

Damn, really great production and performance by both of y’all. The transitions between singing and rapping are super smooth, and the hook is killer. I really enjoyed this one—hope that album comes out!

Oi man stop stealing my girl Llama haha. nah real talk this is sick, I love everything about it, the beat, the lyrics, the flows (both of you) and it's got a killer hook too. I thought your last track was great but this one even better! dream team!

Whoa whoa this is really fantastic. This has a sonic quality or something about the production that fits it in with something from the early 2000s, and I’m absolutely here for it. Maybe that ages me (or you) but I don’t care. Great work!

lovin those brilliant transitions from singing to rapping, making it the same thing. lyrics are like the diamonds encrusted in a golden bracelet. you cant go wrong with talents like this,

Guys…. What a team. It just works. Make that album happen please šŸ™ Right from that cool chopped intro, the lofi backing works so incredibly well with the clarity and sheen in the vocals. Loved hearing you singing together (Adam, for the nine hundredth time, you have a great singing voice and should use it more!). Some great lines - particularly enjoyed the Howard the Duck reference - and just overall a damn cool track. Well done!

Off the charts good. Enjoying seconds. Love when this thing takes off like a rocket at 1:02. Then Adam let's it rip, so good to hear you slinging words again. Just a great collab all around. Thoroughly enjoyed listening...
