#Hammond-Autovari-64 #modular #live-drums #wait-for-it!

This one is not finished yet, as scheduling has gotten in the way.
So, it's still unfinished, but still stands on its own. It is always a highlight to collab with @eargoggle and this time is certainly different than what we've done up until now--which is Always the goal. This started off with a pretty benign drum rhythm with a Hammond Autovari. Then we formed it into a structure that we could use, the modular came in, then the synths, drums, hand drums, and such.... I had some crazy idea to add a service bell, but then the idea of the plot came to be--with some person, for whatever reason driving urgently to a store, only to find that no one is there that he can see. He gets more agitated, but we don't know why is even there in the first place. I guess that we will eventually figure that out (by tomorrow night? We shall see). Fun!

Lyrics

Hello? Is anybody here? Can I have some service? CAN I HAVE SOME SERVICE?!?!

Whoa, love how different this one is and all the unique sonic touches up it to another level. Fun ideas for the concept and awesome joy for my headphones! and just so much "fun" when the intensity ups and ups and ups again!

I love the rhythm and movement as the song moves forward and evolves. It builds perfectly and creates a sense of anticipation. Cool synth sounds and I love the sound effects.

#wait-for-it indeed. The progression on this great. LIVE DRUMS and recorded to perfection. All the different layers dance so well together. The higher frequencies are having a big party but it never crosses into too much sibilance. To me the is was an apocalyptic diner run! You're wishing the world didn't and all you want to have is that juicy burger.
