I'm a singer/songwriter living and performing in Minneapolis with the band Starter Boyfriend. For FAWM, my primary instrument is guitar (electric or acoustic), but I can also provide bass, vocals, mixing, and general songwriting. I'm fortunate to play in a local band and collaborate with other local musicians to write, record, and produce original music. I'm heavily influenced by #90s alternative rock since it's what I "grew up on". I'm not sure if I'm stuck in it, or it's stuck in me, but it definitely pervades much of what I create.
I've had a FAWM account since 2013 but have ended up skipping many years due to other time-consuming interests like filmmaking (or sometimes just...life, you know?). FAWM is usually very successful (making music with my friends) and I'm looking forward to writing and co-writing and listening to all your fabulous music!

Ah, now that you mention it, you did put an awful lot of guitars on that song. And you have an awful lot of guitars to do that. Loved your sci-fi exploration last year. Keep it up!
I think it was someone else who did the "27-guitar-track jams" but I'm always up for a collab. If you find yourself with the time and inclination, drop me a line. I look forward to hearing what you come up with this FAWM.

as a tiny one i always got the two confused - i think the fact that (to memory) they were basically right next to each other didn't help either!! however (interesting tidbit) to my knowledge it's the only instance of a claremont and a montclair being next to each other in the US so i think that's pretty darn cool at least.
