@guitargabe said we had to write a song that was positive vibes only, which just so happened to coincide with a request one of my friends made to write a "Trans people are wonderful" protest song. This was such a joy to write.

Trans people are a gift to humanity and always have been. The tapestry of our society would be much dimmer and less interesting without them. It's more important now than ever to express our love and support for the communities that this administration is targeting.

Here's to trans survival, trans joy, and trans THRIVING.

Lovely melody, vocals, and lyrics — and whether it was intentional (I suspect it was) or not, beautifully made” recalls the biblical “fearfully and wonderfully made.” Which to me is just right because it flies in the face of anti-trans sentiment in some religious circles. “Rare as dragons/can’t be tamed” is a favorite moment. Beautiful celebration song.
