Lyrics
She's Crazy (I'm just glad she's crazy about me) by Gary Ray Knowland
She never does what you think she would And some times she's even on time She always steps between the cracks And she drinks a little too much wine
There's things she hates and she don't know why She just decided those things were wrong And you can't talk her out of it Ya better suck it up and go along
Oh she's crazy,
and I just can't live with without her
Yeah she's crazy
As anyone can see
I said she's crazy
And my world revolves around her
Well she's crazy....uh huh
But I'm just glad she's crazy about me
Yeah I'm sure glad she's crazy about me
She dont' like talkin 'bout politics She says it's just a waste of her mind but she just might crash your party She could never ever walk a straight line
I often wonder if she's alright 'cause she loves livin out on the edge And she's just crazy enough my friend for bungee jumpin off the tallest bridge
Oh she's crazy,
and I just can't live with without her
Yeah she's crazy
As anyone can see
I said she's crazy
And my world revolves around her
Well she's crazy....uh huh
But I'm just glad she's crazy about me
Yeah I'm sure glad she's crazy about me
Oh she's crazy,
and I just can't live with without her
Yeah she's crazy
As anyone can see
I said she's crazy
And my world revolves around her
Well she's crazy....uh huh
But I'm just glad she's crazy about me
Yeah I'm sure glad she's crazy about me
Yeah I'm sure glad she's crazy about me....

That's a pretty adorable hook. And it's also nice to hear in a song like this, that being crazy isn't necessarily a bad thing. "And some times she's even on time" really cracked me up because a lot of this song sounds like it could be about me, and this line is true too. Sometimes! LOL. #tit4tat
Lovely...A nice little story but to me the music stands out as top stuff. Are you playing that slide (or pedal steel?)? The bass on this is so solid. A nice composition all around. Your vocal delivery is smooth and relaxed. Those twangy guitar licks are to die for. Had to go back and listen twice just to get a double dose of that chicken pick'n, finger lick'n, melodic stick'n, note bend'n, double stopp'n goodness.
Great little country tune with fantastic production value - great singing and playing, fun lyrics, all around a radio ready song I enjoyed
I love how you sing, "craaaazy", here :) Catchy & classic country storytelling here. Guitar solo is just lovely. Glad I came here for a listen, as I followed so I can keep up with your music next FAWM. #tit4tat
Good conclusion in the chorus (I'm just glad she's crazy about me). I could almost do with more of the detailed descriptions of what makes her crazy. Like "bungee jumping of the tallest bridge" tells the story of a certain type of person a lot more than "doesn't like discussing politics". It all works, but one sells "crazy" better than the other.
I really love all of the details about the girl that really helps us understand the crazy love. You do a country song real good, you have the voice and make a mighty fine production of it. Another one hit out of the ballpark!!!
Love that slide guitar - great intro. Oh I love the little vocal flip/kinda yodel thing you have here and there in the vocals - so very country and so cool. I am not a big country fan but I am totally digging your song - wonderful forward momentum, great beat and flow, nice use of repetition and such good lyrics, and nice expressive vocals singing a melody that already sounds like a classic. Excellent backing track also!
This country vibe you're on is very cool. Love the backing track and the vocals fit the song perfectly. I'll probably be singing "Oh she's crazy, but I can't live without her" all day - Great lyrics.
This is WAY better than the new country that's out there. Classic country or 90's country is about all I can personally stomach. Excellent work on this song. Great lyrics, backing track, and vocals! Superb!
Strikes again! Lovin the honky tonk. I'm in the midst of trying to write a trio of honky tonk songs, and it's great to find some inspiration!
Damn Gary, I am totally on board with these classic country songs you keep writing! I really gotta agree with that smelly opossum that this coulda come from Hank or Prine! Really awesome music you've written and performed here. And your production is top-notch! Your vocals are on point and I love those harmonies you've added! That hook is so damn awesome and the twist of her being crazy about you is such a treat! Excellent work my friend!
Well, hey hey hey, this is my favorite song today! And I like that she's not just crazy...she's crazy about you! I shur do enjoy your classic country stuff. This is the song ol' Hank Williams and John Prine would write if they had gotten together up there in heaven and wrote one together! I like it a lot!
Freakin' Great. Love everything about it. Is that you playing all those instruments?
You can do country! The lead guitar lines are fire! Instant classic.
Fun song! Great lyrics, for a second I thought they were about me... š¤ š Very cool hook!
This has a great sound. Perfectly crafted classic country. I love the way it is organized and I love the beat as in my foot is tapping to it as well.
And real country things! Hard not to do it when you can do it so well. Instant classic ! Iād put this on the playlist as I drive through the inland red dust here! I bet the locals would ask. who is that!
Such great production! Such a honky tonk country feel too. The chorus is almost a little Beatles-y in the drum track.
Oh that's cool. I need that impeccable production on the country song I just wrote. š This has a great sound. Perfectly crafted classic country. Love the hook. This is wonderful!
This is all kinds of awesome! Love the lyrics, the cool piano, and especially the guitars!
Ha...some really cool lines. And I can relate to the theme and the hook line is classic...so well crafted... a winner and it's radio ready!
