When I first read the title and that it was about your new dog, I assumed it was the dog who would be instructed to sit down. So clever to turn it on end and make it all about the importance of taking a break once in a while and concentrating on what’s really important. Simple yet perfect chord progression and voicings, fitting the happy, charming lyrics to a tee. Another one of my favorites from you, Hannah. I’m racking up quite a list!☺️♥️

I want more PUPCORE!!! We are missing our dog so much :( she is 13 years old and wouldn’t have been fair to drag her half way around the world. She’s retired with my in laws in Scotland and being spoilt rotten. This was a tonic today - gorgeous song, from the dogs perspective - clever lyrics.

YouTube just posted a TED talk about our love for dogs--haven't watched it yet, though. My family never had a dog. When I turned 30 and got married my wife insisted on getting a dog, so I said okay. LOVED that dog! Single again, I don't have one because...travel, etc. They're pretty "walk" intensive and all.

There’s great warmth and lightness of touch in your phrasing - the juxtaposition of the staccato ‘fluffy’ and extended ‘hoooound’ is really clever. Lovely little tune!
