Didn't read the liners first and was thinking that there's some freaking Zappa vibes here, especially in the chorus! Such an awesome groove with all these mixed influences and NAILED the message. I can tell you had a whole lotta fun making this one - holy cow. Amazing - so good that I will forgive the negative snake message. ;)

Invoking Zappa and Billy Preston is a high bar. And one on which you then TOTALLY deliver. Man, your playing is off the charts!! Getting the Zappa in the chorus, that's awesome. I also love the use of the phrase 'cock up', which you don't hear enough in music I feel. I realise this has a very serious subject at its core (on which you are justifiably righteous in your rage), but I feel like it can also be a whole heap of fun at the same time. The funk is strong here. Well done, sir.

You're one of the few artists whose funk I actually like. I have mixed feelings about chopped guitars, wah sounds and bopping rhythm sections but your stuff is soooo strong, lyrically and in production value, that it's such a blast to listen to it. Especially the synth and organ solos. No idea how you write this. Guess you just have the groove... or don't?
