From @dhiatt (music) @nadine wrote these awesome, angsty lyrics, and I've been looking for an excuse to work on metal screams, so, here we are. The lyrics called for a blegh, so I did a deep dive into blegh and gave it a shot.
From @nadine (lyrics) My head is exploding from all the bad news at work, politics and this world. I feel trapped inside a book of Franz Kafka, which is why I picked the metaphor of a bug to explain how rotten, surreal and weird everything is, that is happening in front of our eyes. I want to yell, but my voice is not able to produce any harsh sound. So glad that @dhiatt picked this one and rocked out!

I'm loving this collab. Classic thrash tune... takes me back to seeing Municipal Waste and Toxic Holocaust a few years ago, and fearing for my life. Blegh indeed. Really fantastic guitar work! I appreciate Nadine's ability to explore so many genres and do it well.

Groovy, tight riffing! Still liking your harsh vocals a lot. Just love the angst and frustration oozing from this track and its lyrics. In some ways, it takes me back to the days when nu metal was actually dark and filled with hatred. Especially the "If life were a bug..." part is furious!

Hard core!!! Love this take on Nadine's lyrics. I say that for two reasons, one is I know how much she loves this kind of music; and two, because this music is so fitting for these lyrics. Seems like a perfect match. Yay!

Yes!! Love this tight metal vibe, reminds me of Helmet back in the day. Then the demon vocals drop, and they're just right for the lyrics. And the melodic chorus is the icing on the doom cake. Great evolution of this song.

The vocals are great, but I really love the music. The non-screaming part is a nice touch. It all fits together perfectly. Awesome collab!
