The duet works so well, particularly in the context of switching animals, why not switch singers, too? One gritty, one sweet, and then merged in great harmony on "Every day" to hit the chorus. Continuing the trading duet motif with the lead guitar and bass for the solo was brilliant. This kind of fun shining through the structure of the blues is so good. Great collab!

Stranded here cause I had a song with the same title some years ago. Good you took the title seriously. A classic blues with great stops, classic licks and cool solo parts. I like how you divided the vocals. Good work! Writing this from my bed on a Monday morning. Definitely feeling this.

I am a big blues fan. Most of my own stuff is blue, and that’s what I listen to most of the time. This song is fantastically done! Totally something to be proud of.

It’s a beautiful example of the way that Singing the Blues and complaining to the universe about being miserable relieves so much of the misery. We played this in our kitchen and there were some wows at the end. Your voices sound great together. The instruments are quintessential blues (love the organ) and the delivery is spot-on. The animal idea is a nice one too. The electric guitar sound is fantastic. Is that a real double bass? Awesome stuff. Congratulations!

But I have to admit it wold be a difficult decision if it Billy Eckstine and Sarah Vaughan were playing in town on the same night as you two. Aside from the stellar performance, this is a crackin brilliant song. it hits all the sweet spots and exceeds all expectations one might have for a song like this. It was hard to hear that clapping at the end above the sound of my own clapping here. That was spectacular!!! I had high expectations but you two just blew it away. I love the day by day structure for this song, and each day's verse was just incredible, fun and true. The chorus is just outstanding. Your voices meld together so well. I particularly like the moments when Liz's vocals dance around DTs. That is so classy and professional. The music is fab and the bass and guitar solos are killer. DT, that vibrato was SING"N!!!! You two are both stars in my book. So happy to listen to this collab...Yay!
